Amadeus at The Future of European Rail

Tomorrow, Amadeus Rail will be attending ‘The Future of European Rail’, one of the most established and important events within the industry. It will take place in Madrid from the 16th and 17th of March with many key industry players attending.
Diane Bouzebiba, Head of the Amadeus Rail Business Unit, will be speaking on maximizing operational efficiency and sales for a deregulated market. She will cover fundamental issues such as estimating the potential of improved distribution on passenger numbers and modal share and whether operator’s sales channels are optimized to take advantage of deregulation. Other notable speakers from the industry include Barbara Dalibard the new Chief Executive of SNCF Long Distance Passenger Services and Apolinar Rodriguez, the Director of International Relations for RENFE who will speak about how RENFE are driving Spain’s rail proposition forward.
Amadeus Rail will have a strong presence at the event with numerous representatives attending. Amadeus have a stand at the exhibition where delegates will be able to view product demos and pick up information sheets on the complete ‘Amadeus Total Rail’ technology suite. Members from the Marketing, Sales and Product Management departments of the Rail Business Unit will be present, including Philip Martin, Head of Marketing who presented at the event last year. Global Head of Sales, Kim Lykkegaard and Head of IT Product Management, Anthony Cozens will also be there.
Amadeus is a proud sponsor of the Future of European Rail for the second year running. We will be hosting a drinks reception on Tuesday evening16th March, after the first day of the event which will provide the perfect opportunity to relax and network with key people within the industry. Many of Amadeus' Top Management team will be attending including Executive Vice President for Commercial, Philippe Chereque, Vice President for Marketing and Distribution, Ian Wheeler and General Manager for Amadeus Spain, Paul de Villiers.
